Slow growing but tough tillandsia. Only expect a bloom every 3 years with bracts turning shades of yellow, pink, orange or red. Found in Florida, Georgia, Mexico, Honduras, West Indies to name a few places where it has been spotted. It grows in large clusters on tree trunks in rainforests or dry forests, woods or swamps, sun or shade.
