Good to know: Actually a native of the Mediterranean, called ‘English’ lavender because it had been found to thrive in Britain.  Needs a well drained soil and should be pruned in the spring 6-8” from the ground after the new leaves appear. All parts of the plant are aromatic and edible. Deer and rabbit resistant. Attracts butterflies.
