Good to know: From Africa to Holland to England to Canada...now to you!! The leaves of scented geraniums (or rather, pelargoniums) were a popular addition to fingerbowls of the Victorian Era for the washing of a dinner guest hands. Both leaves and flowers are also useful flavourings in teas, jellies and baked goods but predominantly the plant is valued by the home gardener for its fragrances of which there are many. 'CITRONELLA' has a citrus scent and the crushed leaves are known to repel mosquitoes!
