Good to know: A slightly smaller form of the Karl Foerster grass with a lovely green and white variegation. Can be used in a garden where the grasses need to be confined to a smaller area. Calamagrostis is more tolerant of the shade than many other grasses. Because they are cool season not warm season grasses it is important that they receive adequate moisture so that they don't dry out in the heat of the summer.

Light requirements: full sun to part shade

Uses: small gardens, good foliage contrast with other perennials
